Who reads our blog II

This is just an update on readership patterns.

The top four countries are the same as the last time I reported, but Germany has pulled into the lead ahead of the USA. Germany and Saudi Arabia display amazing interest considering that they are so much smaller than the USA in population, and that the blog is in English [gives friendly wave to Germany and Saudi Arabia].

A high percentage of our hits, not surprisingly, comes from places of the form "University of X" or "X University" [gives friendly wave to academics].

Pageloads, unique visitors, and return visitors are increasing rather monotonically, but with only a few days of data, I hesitate to get too excited over the trend and let myself in for disappointment. We are still a small fry. You won't find us by Googling "El Naschie" until the 4th page. (Personally, I think that's outrageous.)

That's all. Not every post has to get your adrenalin pumping.

It would be outrageous, but it's not true (Google results depend on a variety of things, including browser -- they really do switch on User-Agent).
For me, a google search for "El Naschie" brings up your high quality informative site at number 10, i.e., bottom of the very first page of search results.
Your friend M. S. El N. has not yet set up a jasonwatch.blogspot.com
