El Naschie's New Sharks

As I mentioned, Howrey, who represented El Naschie in his case against Die Zeit, are no longer working for him.

I just now updated the FQXi El Naschie discussion archive with the latest comments. The ones from August 20 through November 7, 2009 are the new additions. On November 5 a commenter directed this remark to the FQXi blogmaster.

The Proprietor of this blog may like to have a look at Sarah Limbricks article dated 2 Nov 2009. It is clear from this article entitled Editor of Scientific journal sues Nature that El Naschie has taken serious legal steps against the subject matter of your blog. El Naschie has hired one of Englands leading libel experts and a well established firm Collyer Bristow of London. It will definitely be a long and costly legal battle. However it is now clear to any level headed person that El Naschie must have profound reasons to take this step in the High Court. I think it is the new culture of internet defamation which must be stopped. Without the internet the allegations made by N Category Cafe could not have been possible and consequently this entire regrettable affair.

The same post was made at The Quantum Pontiff as well. To me this looks like an attempt to intimidate FQXi and The Quantum Pontiff.

Sarah Limbrick also had mentioned Collyer Bristow.

Here's the site for their London office. Perhaps I should send them a friendly inquisitive email, I don't know. Howrey never wrote me back.

It's clear spamming - a well-known technique of El Naschie sockpuppets.

  4. Which names? El Naschie makes often a point through his sockpuppets, that his opponents hide behind fake identities. Are these identical posts? Are they signed with different names? What does that tell about the truthfulness of his "imaginary friends"?

  5. We all know that El Naschie sockpuppets hide behind proxy servers, but if someone still needs a proof:

    R. Ford Denison kindly provided the IP address of the sockpuppet who posted the same remark mentioned above.

  6. Shrink, that's awesome. Sockpuppet B.M Sidley's IP is 195.93.21.36 and it resolves to an AOL proxy server in London.
