El Naschie interviewed on Egypt's Channel One

Brand new! It was broadcast Saturday July 10, 2010.

The interview was conducted by Dr. Amr Abdel Samie, who, like El Naschie, supports Hosni Mubarak's ruling National Democratic Party.

El Naschie mentions Germany, Ahmed Zewail, and Mohamed ElBaradei. It looks very, very interesting.

I can't believe he still has the nerve to do TV interviews.

Thanks to Zahy for the heads-up, and to our reader and translator who thinks El Naschie is a douche for the find. I have downloaded the videos so that we can re-host them if they disappear.

  3. El Naschie's Rosa Al-Youssef column is up for Tuesday, July 13. Dreams of the Persian Empire. Arabic or English.

In his previous two columns, El Naschie discussed Turkey. Today he turns to Iran. There are similarities and differences, he says. Historically both have been colonialist empires subjugating the Arabs. Today Turkey seeks influence for full EU membership, while Iran wants to export the Iranian revolution.
