El Naschie's old Web site vanishes!

UPDATE: The site's up again.
Did it go down in the Bermuda Triangle? Or get swallowed by an LHC black hole?

Actually, look at this prediction:

I guess it is very convenient that in the transition between websites he can get rid of the forged photo which is missing as you already noticed. It is evidence of his being a fraudster and a con man, but he was afraid to remove it because that would blow all his "it's not relevant"-cover.

It is not a very bold call to say that his present website will go offline rather quickly, I say in the course of the next week.

It took much longer than a week, but still -- not bad, Martin. These are the now-dead links to his old Web site:
http://www.el-naschie.net/
http://www.elnaschie.com/
They are not likely to return to life, because the removal of the site in its entirety is a cover for the removal of the intimate Nobelists fakery and to a lesser extent his implausible front-page claim to have been made a full professor.

For safe keeping, here, from Google's cache, is the text of his old front page:

He is editor-in-chief and associate editor of numerous learned journals.

UPDATE: As Martin commented, they are back up. Yes, he reads us. He may have put them back up just to make us wrong.

  1. I see them from here again. Looks like a false alarm. My original prediction was difficult in the first place: he reads here.

  2. I hate to read popular science journalism since its all about sensations rather than facts. You always read wrong statements like; observing an emergent magnetic monopole is suddenly described as a proof of fundamental monopoles and an experimental verification of string theory.

What makes me VERY angry is when scientists or pseudo-scientists (like El Naschie) try to spread lies on purpose about scientific news! On http://www.el-naschie.net/, under the news section mr. Crackpot claims that E-infinity theory has been experimentally verified, referring to this recent Science paper: http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/short/327/5962/177.

This is an absurd claim and the experiment has nothing to do with E-infinity theory (except buzz words like E8, probably the only thing El Naschie 'understood' from the paper).

  3. I know, H. When the Coldea et al. paper came out El Naschie's sockpuppets and fans posted all over the Internet that the great man's E-infinity theory was proved. I've never seen them so excited. It's ridiculous of course. The golden mean can turn up whenever a regular pentagon is involved, or a group whose order is a multiple of five. It doesn't have to be something as fancy as E8. But the fact that both El Naschie and Coldea mentioned E8, that made them giddy.
