El Naschie: Seek knowledge, especially in China

El Naschie's Rosa Al-Youssef column is up for Tuesday, September 28. Seek knowledge, especially in China. Original Arabic or Google's English translation. Here's the whole thing in line:

There is no doubt that the progress made by China in the last ten years amounts to a miracle and science fiction.

2005 . Personally, I can not describe to the reader fascinated in Shanghai when I visited for the first time in 2005 [his 60th birthday party].

This background may be estimated how happy I am when he called me two weeks ago, a number of scholars of China and sent me an invitation to attend an important conference on the theories of dynamics, non-linear and their applications in basic sciences and engineering sciences note that the Organizing Committee for the Conference decided that this occasion a ceremony honoring me on the occasion convey the Finally a solution to what is seen by many scientists in the biggest mystery of quantum mechanics is the so-called collapse of the targeted amount [wave function?].

I am now waiting for boarding a plane for London [this column must have been written in advance around September 24th], which will go with God's help non-stop to Shanghai and I will try in the remaining time to explain in simple language the subject of discovery that will Akram for it which is considered a man and many of my colleagues that the discovery of dimensions goes far beyond science and reach the heights in world of thought and philosophical link for the spirit and to prove that materialism is not as physical in origin, deep as well as spirituality or what we call the error of ideas is the process that thickens at a deep level and become a have the same weight of material will explain all this, God willing, but the language of science as much as possible and to the extent permitted place and time.

.. .. And complete tomorrow

  1. El Naschie's Rosa Al-Youssef column is up for Wednesday, September 29. Cat in a closed box. Original Arabic or Google's English translation.

The title "Cat in a closed box" suggests that El Naschi plans to talk about Schrödinger's cat, but he does not do so in this column. He does talk about quantum theory and superposition of states, however. Maybe he'll talk about the cat tomorrow.

He names drops "American scientist Richard Feynman" and "philosopher and writer, the great artist Jean-Paul Sartre".

Preparing to tell us about his E-infinity theory, El Naschie says that fractals have a lot to do with the world of the very small. Scientists were baffled by quantum behavior for 80 years until El Naschie explained it from the perspective of pure mathematics and philosophy, rather than classical physics.

  2. Hi Jason,
If you look at http://www.rosaonline.net/Daily/News.asp?id=54830, you will find a comment due to Said El naschie (Family Black Sheep) dated 10 September 2010 and is criticizing the great man.

  4. Zahy, great detective work. I would never have found those comments from Said. I am studying them.

  5. El Naschie's Rosa Al-Youssef column is up for Thursday, September 30. Schrödinger's cat. Original Arabic or Google's English translation.

El Naschie begins talking about quantum theory and Schrödinger's cat, and hinting at superposition and entanglement. I'd rather he talked about E-infinity theory, and fortunately he does. Not about the theory itself, but about how it's such a scientific revolution that some are resisting it.

El Naschie is encountering hatred, nonsense and gossip. But he will not say more about that because the twisted ways of character assassins deserve only ignoring and contempt.

  6. El Naschie's Rosa Al-Youssef column is up for Friday, October 1. Questions universe. Original Arabic or Google's English translation.

El Naschie asks his readers for patience as he explains quantum physics to a non-technical audience.

He then spends several paragraphs belaboring the quantum-mechanical idea of the probablility of finding an electron in a region, in contrast to the classical situation of knowing exactly where a particle is and when. He likens the quantum situation to a particle being two places at once, a seeming paradox. Fortunately, he says, his theory of fractal Cantorian space-time (E-infinity theory) solves the paradox, allowing an electron to be in two places simultaneously. And for this discovery he is being honored in China.
