What Martin Klicken has been up to

Long-time El Naschie Watch partner Dr. Martin Klicken has been quiet on this blog lately, but he has not been idle.

Through a website called VroniPlag, original German or Google's English translation, Martin and his associates have been discomfiting politicians and celebrities with plagiarized doctoral theses. The removal of German Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg is a notable success.

In Rems-Murr Rundschau of 16 April 2011, Martin is interviewed in German. Interview mit einem Plagiatjäger (Interview with a plagiarism hunter) appears below.

Dr Martin Klicken Interview

Here's another interview with him in dw-world.de. Original German Die Wissenschaft ist unser höchstes Gut or Google's English translation Science is our greatest asset. He quotes an Arab proverb, "Trust in God, but tie up your camel" haha. Good advice.

"University of Heidelberg finds Koch-Mehrin guilty of plagiarism"

"For the second time this year, a German university has withdrawn a Ph.D awarded to a politician. The University of Heidelberg said it had no choice but to withdraw the title from Silvana Koch-Mehrin due to plagiarism."
