The Telegraph reports today that Britain's 'tackiest house' has sold after six years on the market, for just half the £70 million asking price. It's only a short jaunt from El Naschie's place.
The new owner of Updown Court, an unnamed Middle Eastern businessman, should keep an eye on his security cameras, lest Egypt's Einstein accost him with a housewarming present. Perhaps a picture of himself with Nobel Laureates, or some back issues of Chaos, Solitons and Fractals.
